About
The Mostaganem Regional Theater was established pursuant to Executive Decree No. 13-181 dated 24 Jumada al-Thani 1434, corresponding to May 5, 2013, and bears the name of the late artist Djilali Ben Abdel Halim.
Mostaganem Theater benefited from a new building in the Italian architectural style, and was officially opened on March 27, 2016, and its management was entrusted to the artist Nabila Mohammadi.
Over the course of 2017, Mostaganem Theater hosted the “Mostaganem Capital of Theater” celebration coinciding with the fiftieth anniversary of the founding of the Amateur Theater Festival.
The first production was “'DAM EL HOB' written by Ould Abderrahmane Kaki and directed by Mohamed Takirat.
