The Prague Garden is an Algiers garden located in Bab El Oued. Designed in 1833 by Commander Marengo The garden was laid out by military prisoners of French Colonel Marengo. In 2017, the garden was closed for development work, the operation was entrusted to the Establishment for the Development of Green Spaces in Algiers (EDEVAL) On January 15, 2019, the Minister of the Interior and Local Authorities, Noureddine Bedoui and the wali of Algiers Abdelkader Zoukh inaugurated the garden after the end of the rehabilitation works
